School’s Out is a 7 piece Motown, Oldies, R&B band , featuring 2 female vocalists, along with lead and bass guitar, sax, keyboard and drums, all who also do vocals. We pride ourselves in our diverse music selection, which includes everything from the Pointer Sisters , Lady Antebellum, and Martha and the Vandellas, to The Beatles, and Bruce Springsteen, and The Association.

Unlike most bands that have one, or possibly two lead vocalists, we have six,  so we are capable of doing a broad variety of song arrangements and vocal styles. People absolutely love to dance to our music, and our fan base continues to grow with every new performance.

We are all seasoned musicians, individually having played many large Lehigh Valley venues such as The Lehigh Valley Hospital Summer Festival, Musikfest, Mayfair Festival , ArtsQuest-SteelStacks and the Glasbern Inn. Five of our members are teachers in the Lehigh Valley,  hence the name School’s Out.

I have had the pleasure of mixing the  sound for School’s Out on two occasions in 2011, Mayfair & Wheels of Time Cruise Night.   I love your band, I was impressed with variety of music and how good the group really is.  School’s Out is a unique mixture of talent, professionalism and personalities, that make listening fun.  What I like most is you are not stuck in the 50s.  I love your music from the 60's , 70's and  80’s too!

Although the band was only formed in November of 2010, we we’re able to land appearances in most of the major summer music festivals in the greater Lehigh Valley, and received such a positive response from listeners, as well as venue managers, that in every case, we have been asked to come back in 2012 . We also are playing on a regular schedule in area clubs and country clubs.
